A book dealy
Yesterday a couple of you guessed it. The photo riddle was revealing that Todd and I are writing a book!
What’s that? You want to know what it’s about?
Well, of course I can’t tell you everything about it, but I will say that it is dealing with our experiences as a large family. The focus is on finances; how to spend money wisely, how to live on one income (this is for you if you are a mom that wants to stay home with her younglings), and general tips on how to make your budget work. Just useful information with a little bit of our story peppered in there too.
At first we will release it as an e-book (website coming soon!) and then we will work on getting it published. Apparently it takes a while for that to happen. So we aren’t holding our breath on the publication part, and we don’t have a “book deal”. I wish we did…but not yet folks.
Writing a book has proven to be quite a challenge since I am no writer.
I’m a blogger.
Not a writer.
There actually is a difference!
If you are a praying person, would you pray to Jesus for us? Specifically that He would give us patience, creativity and that we would hook us up with the right people? Thanks so much!

Homemaker Moments Friday’s theme is going to be about our economy: Have you experienced the effects of a “down-turned” economy? How?
I am so curious to see how many families out there have actually felt the effects of this economic crisis. I’m sure there are some because the numbers speak, but I want to know who and what the specific situations are. Would you share your story- whether effected or not?

Yesterday, while I was sitting on a lounge chair beside the pool watching Titan and Adia swim and helping Caleb catch the funkiest looking caterpillar I’ve ever seen, Adia got out of the water and came to sit right beside me. She looked over at me and ever so sweetly said,
“So…how are you doing?”
“I’m fine. How are you doing?”, I asked.
“Fine”, she said.
Then she stood up and got back into the pool as softly as she had gotten out.
…so, how are you doing?

I’m not sure of the difference between a blogger and a writer but I’m sure if there is with your talent it won’t take you long to catch on. Best of luck, can’t wait to read it.
