Long time no…

Update: Regan and Caleb both got into sixth grade math at the co op we will be attending next year. Therefore, I will be teaching K5 and we will be going there one morning a week this school year. The only thing is, now I have to get organized to teach four other five-year-olds!
Oh yeah, [...]There is so much to say
The only problem is that I am sick! Actually, over half of my family is sick. You see, last night we ate this spaghetti and immediately Regan and I felt full. Heavy might be a more accurate word.
While she and the kids swam I still felt kind of queasy and heavy. As it turned out [...]Super Babies
Have you been sitting there wondering what a mother of five does when her two oldest children are gone for a week? I know you have been! But no worries, I’m about to tell you.
Obviously we dress our children up like super heroes and put them in front of a utility fan, that’s sitting on [...]Praise the Lord, I’m too busy
Too busy to blog

Praise the Lord
Not to mention our new renters that moved in this week
Not to mention the renters that moved out…one of which must not have any arms or hands because [...]Only the facts
Salem:
Salem fell down eight times in five minutes on the walking trail yesterday. In total, Salem fell down eleven times while on the walking trail yesterday. The trail is concrete. Todd put Salem to bed and thought he had poison ivy all over his forearms. Todd realized that it wasn’t poison ivy, but it was [...]Unfortunately-Fortunately

Titan’s been writing his vowels and sight-reading a few three letter words for a couple of months now. Once he turned five I decided he outta learn something other than how to play Lego Batman on the Wii, and so far it’s going well.
He can add a [...]Not Me!
I haven’t done a “Not Me” in a long time (is that considered a double negative?) and I have lots of moments from the last week that are totally “Not Me” worthy! They seem to all come at once, so I thought I’d share.
Never ever would I let the kids watch TV instead of doing [...]Things I am not
Friends, I want to cut to the chase today. Frankly it’s been easy for me to get on here each day and go on and on about what my family does…who I am…what we are all about. And honestly, it’s great to be able to share the good things about us, to point out the [...]
One day at a time
Am I the only person who has:
mopped up throw up from the hallway to the bathroom and then more on the outside of the toilet…not on the inside of the toilet, mind you…all on the outside of it.
picked up a trail of poop pellets from the front door to the living room that led me, [...]The first weekend that…
This was definitely a weekend of firsts for our family!
First of all, the pool is officially open! Hallelujah I don’t have to listen to anymore nagging about when the pool will be open. Now I just get to watch every move each one of the kids makes so that they don’t get anywhere near the [...]
